Media app privacy

This notice covers the media apps published by Imagineers for ChatGPT. It supplements the Imagineers privacy policy with information about the apps’ Firemoon-backed processing.

Information processed

When you connect an app, Firemoon processes account and authorization information needed to associate requests with your account. When you use a tool, the service receives the instructions, settings and media references supplied with that request. These may include images, videos, audio and generated results.

The service also processes operational information, such as request identifiers, errors and usage events, to deliver results, troubleshoot problems and protect the service. The app receives information passed to its tools; it does not need your entire ChatGPT conversation.

How information is used and shared

Instructions and source media are sent through Firemoon to the processing or model providers needed for the selected task. Hosting and storage providers deliver uploads and generated results. Imagineers uses support messages to investigate and respond to your requests. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, as described in the Imagineers privacy policy.

Media links

Uploaded files and results may be stored at link-accessible media URLs so they can be processed, previewed and downloaded. Anyone with a working media link may be able to access that file. Avoid uploading material you do not want processed this way, and do not share sensitive media links publicly.

Retention and deletion

Account, request and media information may be retained to provide saved results, maintain the service and meet legal obligations. Retention can also depend on the processing provider. To request removal, contact support@imagineers.studio with your account email and the relevant result or generation identifiers. We may verify ownership before deleting data. Disconnecting an app in ChatGPT stops future authorized use but does not itself delete previously stored media.

Your choices

You choose what media and instructions to provide. Use media you have permission to process, and obtain consent where needed for photographs or recordings of other people. You can disconnect the app in ChatGPT settings and contact us about access, correction or deletion requests.
